It is the Executive Committee’s proud honor to announce and recognize the 2010 Officer of the Year Aurora Borealis Branch award winner, LCDR Christina J. Eldridge, PharmD.
LCDR Eldridge has been the primary liaison between the Aurora Borealis Branch and Special Olympics of Alaska (SOAK). Her effort keeps fellow officers informed of upcoming athletic events and volunteer opportunities. She has also helped recruit volunteers for their four major events throughout the year. She supports her fellow officers and hospital employees by providing immunizations at the annual flu clinic and serves on the hospital-wide, multidisciplinary Palliative Care Team. LCDR Eldridge also assists with pharmacy telehealth education for the Community Health Aide Program.
LCDR Eldridge serves as a pharmacist mentor and recruiter. She is a role model, educator, and resource for the Doctor of Pharmacy students who complete an outpatient pharmacy rotation at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
