Care packages for our fellow Officers deployed to West Africa

I would like to gather some items to send to our fellow Officers who are deployed to the Monrovia Medical Unit in West Africa.

Many of these Officers will be away from their friends and family during the holidays and I think this will be a great way to show our support from the field.

If anyone is interested in having a drop off station in their department please let me know! You can drop off items to me in the Outpatient Pharmacy and if you are interested in helping to package up the goods let me know as well.

I would like to have the collection done by Friday, November 28th.

Items that would be useful include:

  • Personal notes to keep morale up
  • Money for us to shop for you and to cover shipping costs
  • Jerky
  • Ramen
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Trail Mix
  • Granola
  • Candy/Chewing Gum
  • Peanut Butter
  • Paper Plates
  • Powdered Drink Mixes
  • Coffee
  • Playing Cards
  • Word search/Crossword/Puzzle Books

Thank you for your support – I know the Officers who are deployed will greatly appreciate it!
