Hello Officers,
I have received many questions regarding influenza vaccination and the upcoming projected readiness date of October 1. I would like to clarify some of those questions.
Officers do not need to meet influenza vaccination requirements prior to Oct 1. Officers will know if/why they are projected to not meet basic readiness through two venues. 1) Direct Access, and 2) Direct email of projected readiness status. Neither of these should list Influenza vaccination as a reason for a projection of not being basic ready. Officers are required to submit proof of influenza vaccination before December 31.
SUBMITTING PROOF OF INFLUENZA VACCINATION IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR
The scanning and uploading of certain documents, known as eDOC-U, has been implement. Vaccination proof is among those documents to be sent to eDOC-U. Other items to be sent via eDOC-U include:
- Appointment (e.g., appointment to a committee, workgroup, PAC Voting Member, etc.)
- BLS/PALS/ACLS Certification (enter the expiration date of the certification. If a day of the month is not displayed, use the last day of the month.)
- Certificate (e.g., certificate of appreciation)
- Certificate of Completion (e.g., completion of training)
- Continuing Education Summary Sheet
- Counseling Form A
- Counseling Form B
- Curriculum Vitae
- Immunization
- Letter of Appreciation
- Officer Statement (enter the date as January 31, ‘year of promotion board’ –i.e. January 31, 2017 for the 2017 promotion year).
- Transcript (unofficial)
I have attached a couple things for your reference.
1) The official email announcement about eDOC-U
2) The Job Aid created to help teach us the new process for using e-DOC-U
SERVER ISSUES
To complicate matters, the servers at dcp.psc.gov have been down since this weekend. This includes the CCMIS website. There is no known fix date at this time. That means you currently are not able to upload anything using eDOC-U. That also means COERs and other resources will be unavailable until further notice. I am confident we will receive some form of communication once the servers are restored. In the meantime, please hold on to your items for uploading upon server restore.
