Please see the attached 2018 Distinguished Branch Award for our Aurora Borealis Commissioned Officers Association.
I am proud of our branch and would like to provide an overview of our accomplishments.
- Membership Activities: 2 events, 4 awards, 2 presenters at COF, expansion of Uniform Committee and ongoing growth with Community Outreach, Change in OY.
- Educational Events: 2 COA AB education presentations, 2-3 Lunch and Learns
- Mentoring Activities: Six Frontline articles submitted by AB COA,
- Readiness Activities: 1 presentation, 4 events with 20 participants
- Community Service Events: Well over 11 volunteer activities with greater than 100 volunteers!
- Surgeon General’s Initiative/Call to Action: Approximately 14 SG Initiatives/PHS Athletics events with over 120 participants and supporters
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication this past operational year. I am very excited to see our branch continue to grow.
