Readiness and Duty Requirements

PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY

Greetings CC Pharmacists,

On 22 June 2018, Commissioned Corps Instruction 241.01 (CCI 241.01), entitled “Readiness and Duty Requirements” was issued.  Along with officially defining the USPHS Weight Standards, which becomes effective 01 Oct 2018, this CCI includes several IMPORTANT updates/changes to our existing Basic Readiness requirements and standards.

The table below outlines some of the new information and important updates related to Basic Readiness Standards.  Please note that this DOES NOT capture all the updates included in the CCI 241.01.

We strongly recommend that each of you carefully read through the entire CCI 241.01 document.

Please note, there may be other important information not included in this table on basic readiness requirements, uniforms, family care plans, and actions that may be taken if officers fail to meet or maintain their readiness service requirements.

For detailed information on completion of each readiness requirement, please review the most current version of the “Readiness: Down-To-Basics” (August 2018).
