New Community Outreach Committee Lead Officer

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Please join me in congratulating LCDR Theresa Castellanos on being appointed the new Community Outreach Standing Committee lead. She will be stepping up to take over the responsibilities of the departing committee lead, LCDR Darrell Acheson.  These are big shoes to fill but we are certain that she is more than up to the task. When asked about her prospects as a new lead LCDR Acheson responded “ I can’t imagine anyone better suited for the position!  I am extremely confident in her personal abilities, dedication, and overall commitment to being able to effectively organize, manage, and ensure the continued success for ongoing COA outreach opportunities.” That there is some high praise!

I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank LCDR Acheson for his hard work and diligent service to the Aurora Borealis COA branch and the local community. Over the past few years he has worked tirelessly and led the Community Outreach sub-committees in providing services benefiting the branch, ANTHC, PHS, and members of the community. He has distinguished himself through his hard work, attention to detail, perseverance, and compassion. The success of his committee’s programs and their impact in the community brings great credit upon himself and the Commissioned Corps. Thank you again for your service and dedication to the PHS mission.

Thank you everyone and I hope you all have a nice evening.

V/r,
