Dear Commissioned Corps officers,
There is now an Education Benefits webpage on the Commissioned Corps Management Information System (CCMIS) website. The new webpage contains updates on recent changes to your GI Bill. The webpage also includes guidance on how to access your information, update your information, use your benefits, and transfer your benefits.
As a reminder: Starting July 12, 2019, officers with over 16 years of creditable active duty uniformed service will no longer be able to transfer education benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. If you currently have 15 or more years of service, and would like to transfer your education benefits to an eligible family member, please submit a request now. The Education Benefits webpage contains information and resources to complete a request.
Please visit the new Education Benefits webpage located on the CCMIS Officer Support tab.
For questions related to your PHS Commissioned Corps Education Benefits, please email: phsdeersgibill@hhs.gov
