Good Morning Officers,
I’m forwarding an email received from our sister branch in the Valley, the Fireweed COA Branch. Please note the deadlines and the following process:
· The Officer must first request and obtain “preliminary supervisor approval” to deploy for the specific time period.
· If approved, they may contact CDR Horsch, notifying him that they have “preliminary supervisor approval”.
· If RedDOG chooses to roster the officer, RedDOG will contact IHS to request agency approval for the deployment.
· A request will go to the AK Area Director for concurrence.
· Communication will process through the Tribal chain-of-command for approval and then back to the Alaska Area Director for concurrence.
· After Area Director concurrence, RedDOG and the officer will be notified by the CC Liaison CDR Wanca of agency approval to deploy.
