Dear Public Health Service Officers,
The 129th virtual annual meeting of AMSUS, the Federal Society of Health Professionals will take place on December 6 to December 10, 2020.
Remember, this year’s conference will have live streaming plenary and leadership sessions and panels, more than 200 on-demand presentations, recorded poster presentations, live chatting with leadership and speakers, and a virtual exhibit hall, as well as an unprecedented amount of available CE/CME! The uniform of the day for the conference is Service Khaki or Service Dress Blues for regular attendees and Service Dress Blues if you are presenting. While this is a virtual conference, the uniform of the day is still required.
We have another great Public Health Service day (December 10th) planned this year. Senior leadership will open the day, via a live streaming session and address how the USPHS Commissioned Corps is responding to 21st century threats. We will have a virtual lunch and hear about the Community Based Testing Sites response and updates on our communication strategy. We will spend the rest of the afternoon hearing from officers from all of our professional categories, who will share their experiences in responding to the pandemic. We will also have an Awards ceremony recognizing well deserving officers for their service.
For registration, the costs for this year have been significantly decreased due to the changes associated with this year’s fully virtual platform. One registration rate not covered online is the single Public Health Service day rate – $55 dollars. The Public Health Service day promotion code is: AMS1120PHS. You do not need the Public Health Service day promotion code if you have purchased the full conference registration.
