New community outreach opportunity: A project manager from the ANTHC LEAD (Leadership Excellence through Advancement and Determination) program is working on establishing an Innovation Center to be located at APU. The space would have a regular tour schedule that allows for visiting children and young adults to the ANMC campus, to visit the APU Innovation Space and utilize some Microsoft HoloLens 2 augmented reality glasses. They are considering having the APU admissions program be the main facilitator of the tour and are asking if some medical professionals/officers would be interested in joining the tour to describe what their profession is like. The first cycle starts in September and the proposal is to have officers once a month for an hour (ie: second Tuesday of every month).
The test period would be September 2021 until May 2022. By March 1 of 2022, they will decide whether or not to continue the tours.
