Here are some additional volunteer opportunities with Special Olympics local games and the Torch Run (these are different from the state games where we serve breakfast).

Skills Basketball (4 Volunteers Needed) —Wednesday May 6th from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Special Olympics Alaska Training Facility
Aquatics (12 Volunteers Needed)—Saturday May 9th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at East High School
Track and Field (12 Volunteers Needed Both Nights) Tuesday May 12 and Thursday May 14th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Wendler Middle School
Traditional Basketball ( 3 Volunteers Needed) Wednesday May 13th from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at the Special Olympics Training Facility.
Power Lifting (6 Volunteers Needed) Sunday May 19th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Southside Strength and Fitness
- Torch Run
Anchorage Law Enforcement Torch Run is on Saturday May 16th and is looking for Volunteers to help Set Up, Tear Down, Help with Pledge Forms, and Door Greeters.
