There has been a change in the fee structure at the Southcentral Foundation Optometry regarding contact lens fee coverage for active duty commissioned corps officers. Our past insurance coverage under BMP, had covered contact lens exams. Our current Tricare coverage does not cover contact lens exams. Tricare does cover routine eye exams. At Southcentral Foundation Optometry, the fee of $100 will be charged in future contact lens exams for commissioned corps officers.
