I’m emailing to invite all COA officers in the Aurora Borealis Branch to participate in Movember, an opportunity to grow a moustache for men’s health awareness from 1 Nov – 30 Nov! The strict rules are to start growing on the 1st, but no one is disqualified from joining, even if you have a ‘stache already J
Movember is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of and advancement of research in men’s health. All officers are invited to join, male or female, though only males are authorized to grow a moustache J
The Movember website offers many tools to communicate men’s health issues to your social media contacts, friends and families.
It is also a donation platform for those generous enough to give.
Post moustache pics, facts about men’s health or personal testimonials about how men’s health issues have affected your life!

***SPECIAL NOTES***
- This is not at odds with the ‘Grow Your Stache’ event that some of you may have heard about. You can participate in both! If you keep track of your men’s health-related contacts you can still submit your results as an individual or a team to the event coordinator. This Movember team is simply utilizing a convenient web platform.
- Moustaches must follow USPHS uniform regulations.
