Good Afternoon Everyone,
The Aurora Borealis COA branch has been asked to provide Aide-de-Camp and Escort Officers to assist several high ranking IHS and PHS officials visiting the ANMC campus.
- The Aide-de-Camp’s primary responsibility is to assist the flag officer or principal in the performance of their duties.
- The Escort Officer is assigned to accompany the flag officer to assist the Aide-de-Camp in facilitating their itinerary, transportation, and lodging.
Volunteers to assist the following individuals will be needed. If you are interested as serving as an Aide-de-Camp or Escort officer please self-nominate by responding to this email with your request. The nominations will be reviewed and assignment made by the branch Executive Committee.

- RADM Weahkee, Acting IHS Director – Aide-de-Camp & Escort – August 6-11
- RADM Meeks, IHS Deputy Director of Field Ops – Escort – August 6-11
- RADM Schweitzer, Chief Pharmacy Officer – Aide-de-Camp – August 16
- CAPT Gordon, Chief Dietitian Officer – Aide-de-Camp – August 16
I have been asked to respond to The IHS Area today so please respond as soon as possible. Also, please note that RADM Weahkee and RADM Meeks will be requiring assistance Monday through Saturday.
