I hope you are well.
Please note the attached email inviting COA members to vote for new members of the COA Board of Directors. The nominations are to fill seats in the Field Representative, Pharmacy, Veterinarian, and Retired Officer categories. COA Directors serve a three year term, with an option of being re-elected to a second three year term.
Of particular interest is that we have two officers nominated in two separate categories, LCDR Jill Gelviro (Pharmacist & Field Representative) and CDR Jonathan Smith (Field Representative). Both officers have served as elected branch officers, been active in branch activities, have a strong understanding of the issues affecting officers stationed in Alaska, and would be strong additions to the National COA Board of Directors.
Please consider reviewing the nominees and making your voice heard regarding the future of the COA. The deadline to vote is March 14th, 2019.
