Fellow Officers,
We just found out that we will have two IHS Senior Flag Officers in Anchorage next Monday evening through Thursday evening (8/5 – 8/8). This is in addition to the Therapist and Dietician CPO visits. This will be a tremendous opportunity to serve as an Escort / Aide-de-Camp. We will need 2-3 officers at any given time listed during the times at the link below. The preference is for officers O-4 and below, but O-5’s are encouraged to complete the availability form as well.
PLEASE RESPOND with your availability and rank ASAP and obtain preliminary approval from your supervisor:
We will need you to provide a copy of your driver’s license if selected.
We will send out more details once the Alaska Area Office releases them. They typically withhold the details until shortly before due to security concerns. Therefore, we wanted you to start thinking about the opportunity. I’ve attached a powerpoint and information sheet on being an aide-de-camp.
