Fellow officers,
Forwarding this message to all IHS officers to ensure receipt. Please note the effective date is today, 20 March 2020, which implies the suspension of the requirements would not apply retroactively to requirements that were due in February and/or for the 1 March 2020 readiness check. Should we receive additional information, we will forward it to all IHS officers.
In the interim, please continue to track the due date of these and all administrative requirements and set up reminders, so that they do not fall through the cracks in the future. Take advantage of your first opportunity to fulfill the requirements and build in time for delays, like systems issues, appointment cancellations, deployments, potential rejection of documents, etc.
Lastly, if you run into a systems or other issue that prevents completion of a requirement or upload of a document, please contact us or the appropriate CCHQ section (with copy to us so we can help with tracking and follow-up) immediately upon discovery; it is much easier to adjudicate a readiness, promotion, or other type of issue when addressed promptly.
