Just forwarding on another fun COA initiative. Should we send something from our branch?

To Think About:
What will you be doing in the year 2051? COA will be celebrating its 100th anniversary and we invite you to be a part of it now by contributing to a COA COVID-19 Time Capsule. Over the next two months we will be gathering items related to the Commissioned Corps’ historical COVID-19 response. What will you commit to contribute? A handwritten account of your experience in a sealed envelope? The first handmade mask that you made, or purchased? Your COVID-19 vaccine sticker, a picture of you in PPE, a letter to your future self? |

To Consider:
Send a relic that relates to your COVID-19 experience by May 15, 2021. Other items to consider include a newspaper article, a sealed letter to your child, a certificate or ribbon (with a story), a letter you received from your parent or grandparent during the pandemic, a drawing from you or your child, a story about a significant loss you experienced, a family photo, your bucket list for the remainder of your time on active duty, a page from your journal or diary, a snip of your social media page, a challenge coin, an empty travel size bottle of hand sanitizer, a lapel pin, etc. We challenge you to be creative!
To Do:
Mail these items to the “Time Capsule Item Collector” before May 15, 2021:
