Call for Volunteers to Review/Compile Competencies for the USPHS Nurse Responder | Deadline to Apply July 23, 2021

  • Would you like to help define the training needs for all USPHS nurses?
  • Do you have experience in any of the following areas?
    • USPHS and/or DOD deployments, epidemiology, community health, education, occupational health, maternal/child health, infection prevention and control, med-surg, acute care, critical care, policy, research, psychiatry/psychology, nurse practitioners, case management
  • Are you interested in assisting with characterizing the role of the USPHS Nurse Responder?
  • How about the idea of collaborating with a highly motivated group of your nurse peers to facilitate the identification of basic, intermediate, and advanced competencies so that each USPHS nurse has a solid foundation in addressing public health emergencies?

If any of the above sounds enticing to you, then please consider volunteering your time and talent to help the N-PAC Readiness and Response Subcommittee with these initiatives.

What’s needed to apply?

  • Current CV
  • One typed paragraph in MS Word or PDF format (max 400 words) and explain why you would like to participate on this work group.
