Nurse Ambassador Program
Have you hired a PHS officer who is new to the agency or transferring to a new duty location?
Are you a PHS officer that is new to the agency or planning to transfer to a new duty location?
The Nurse Ambassador Program is here to assist officers of ALL categories!
Nurse Ambassadors serve as liaisons to new officers and their families by providing education on social and community activities.
The purpose of this initiative is to create an environment where professional working relationships are fostered, and officers’ moral are increased. Ambassadors assist with transition of new officers and their families to the community.
The Ambassadors assist officers with establishing a supportive network and sustainability. An Area Nurse Ambassador will serve as a liaison in the local area and agency to provide specific details on culture, community resources, and is part of the supportive network for the new officer.
