USPHS Athletics
Created in 2014 by the Office of the United States Surgeon General, the mission of United States Public Health Service Athletics is to protect, promote, and advance the health of the American people though fitness.
Public Health Service Athletics is a venue to encourage participation in running, swimming, biking, walking, weightlifting, and other speed, strength, and endurance events, led by the members of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service.
Anyone can join a Public Health Service Athletics team but every event must have at least one PHS Commissioned Corps officer as an Event Leader. Choose an event you are interested in (either from our calendar or one you’d like to do) and
- Become an Event Leader (if it’s a new event)
- Or, join an existing team!
